This website was created by me, Pieter. Since my youth, I have been fascinated by America. The world’s most innovative companies and brands originate from the land of unlimited possibilities, as do the world’s most popular artists and famous movies.
In later years, I’ve also come to know America as a melting pot of cultures, resulting in a rich mix of food, music, and languages. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege to admire the country’s beautiful nature many times, from the dry plains of Death Valley to the giant sequoias in Sequoia National Park and, of course, the deep gorges of the Grand Canyon.
By now, I’ve been to America many times, both with my cousin and my family with 2 kids who were then 2 and 4 years old. Of the 50 states, I’ve visited 15 so far. There’s still so much to discover.

2012: Road trip through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Death Valley, Yosemite Park and the Grand Canyon.
2019: 6-week trip through New York and the Western United Stated with two kids aged 2 and 4 years.
2020: Journey through Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Memphis and Atlanta.
2022: Road trip from van Boston, New York, Philadelphia, to Washington.
2023: Road trip through Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
